TERSAN - Introduction

Tersan Groups’s repair and docing facility is dedicated to provide a first class service to the shipping industry through the motto of "cost effective, on time repairs with high quality.

The current Repair Yard/Floating dock is located in Tuzla/Istanbul providing services to the ships with an average of 70 to 80 vessels each year. Tersan is further investing to a new floating dock which to be located in Yalova area extending the groups repair activities more than 200%.

We are operating three floating docks with below mentioned sizes in Tuzla & Yalova premises.

• No:1 - Lifting Capacity 6.500 tons – Length 130 mtrs – Inner Breadth 23,0 mtrs at Tuzla premises

• No:2 - Lifting Capacity 9.000 tons – Length 180 mtrs – Inner Breadth 29,0 mtrs at Yalova premises

• No:3 – Lifting Capacity 50.000 tons – Length 284 mtrs – Inner Breadth 51,0 mtrs at Yalova premises

Our max. docking draught 9,00 mtrs which is giving us unique advantage for docking of vessels with excessive draught like Ro-Ro vessels, Livestock Carriers, Tankers, Car Carriers etc.

Piers at yard totally 1500 mtrs available to accommodate up to Aframax size for afloat repairs.

Depth at repair berths between 10 mtrs to 18 mtrs which is available to accommodate even fully loaded vessels, petrol rigs etc.

Our Yalova premises almost biggest shipyard facility in Turkey with 300.000 sqm in door and out door area, 40.000 tons/year steel working capacity and more than 3.000 employees.

Our premises equipped with brand new cherrypickers, bobcats, forklifts, compressors, speedboat, etc.

We are available to supply also 440 Volt – 60 Hz electric power with frequency converter in drydock and at repair berths.

Please kindly note also that with combined experience of new building we have availability and qualification to perform very special jobs like Stainless Steel, Aluminium, CuNiFer, Copper materials. Coating with Metallizing, Marine Line etc.

Shipyard has inhouse mechanic, pipe, outfitting, electric, insulation and carperntery workshops.

Gantry crane with 550 tons lifting capacity which is operable also in repair pier giving us to chance for handling very heavy parts and equipments on repair vessels.

All our welders and welding procedures approved by DNV-GL.
